K.J's Taiwanese Sausage Rice Dish

During the weekdays, I'd just cook some simple dishes at home, it's not just fast and easy but also I can bring left over as my bento for next day's lunch at work. Maybe this would give you guys some idea to start cooking at home? :)-

Rice & Taiwanese Sausage cook in the same time!

My super cooking secret, cook taiwanese sausage at the same time at the same pot! I just get this sort of sweet taiwanese sausage from Ranch 99 supermarket (you can use any kind of sausage or even marinated meats), just do the regular rice cooking as usual and add them into the rice pot before you closed the lid and push "COOK", when your rice is done, your meat will be ready to be served as well!! Easy, right!!

Sauteed Veggies!

Heat up a little oil, suttee some garlic first, you can add chili pepper if you like it spicy, and then just add any veggie you like, stir them couple times, add a little water and seasoning, cover the lid until it's cooked and tender, wow-la, it's done!

Steam Egg!

Steam egg seems easy but it's actually not! the key is not enough water with eggs, mixed well. Do not place the egg mixed for steaming if the water is not boiling yet and make sure do not cover the lid all the way, leave some room for steam to come out, so the surface will be very smooth! It only takes 7-10 mins to get done!

After all is done, sliced the sausage, put them on top the rice and have others on the side, and of course, sliced garlics to go with sausage. That's the only way to eat taiwanese sausage!!
